David Unsworth - Temporary Manager

Can anyone actually tell me why it suddenly becomes so difficult to get/retain possession?
- DCL obviously offered more hard work in terms of press the opposition, and
- Our defensive midfielders are the same as last season.
However, both Crystal Palace and Southampton have TOTALLY DOMINATED THE BALL, EVEN WHEN THEY ARE LEADING which they should be happy to play deep and give the ball to us.
Our defensive midfielders have offered no protection to the back four at all. The opposition goes past them way too easily.
We now have successfully combined the defensive fragility in the Martinez era, and the attacking inability in the Koeman era.
If we keep playing like this we will be relegated.

Just need a new manager so we can put him out of his misery.

Not his fault, there’s limits to how a caretaker can be expected to go on for with a dysfunctional squad and a rubberless Board

Unsworth has been a disaster. Many times you get an upturn in performances and results even when a caretaker manager takes charge but this has certainly not happened with him, in fact, we've got steadily worse.

Many wanted him simply because he's a Blue but he's proven to be totally out of his depth.

We've got the worst board in the country, fronted by the biggest buffoon in football, and they ahead of Unsworth have to take the largest portion of the blame for the sickening mess we are in.

I believe he’s arrogant enough to believe he can do the job . So yes in some ways it his fault. U23 champs what a joke.

He's not good enough clearly but he's doing it through he was asked to. It's not all his fault it's the jokes who run us and maybe maybe people will start to see that they are exactly that

Matt, he wasn't shy or reticent about taking the job.

He literally said in his first press conference that he wanted it. He has been given the chance and totally crapped it all over the shop.

He cannot now say "got dealt a bad hand"

Of course he's going to say that mate he's still stepped in when asked hasn't he? There was no other options due to having no plan after sacking koeman and that all stems from the board and if we go down its all on them mate

He can hardly say anything else can he.

What did you want him to say?
The team is crap and I’m not good enough, but i’ll give it a go for a few months?

He’s a caretaker, I don’t think anyone sees him as anything but that

Feel sorry for the fella, we can all see he's not up to managing a Premier Leaghe club, especially one that's in the middle of a crisis but half the players genuinely couldn't give a [Poor language removed], Moshiri is off telling Jim White that we're close to bringing in a new manager, that just makes the players have no drive to perform under someone the know won't be managing shortly.

Never should've been required to manage us for more than a week, unbelievable that this is still dragging on.

The new manager 'bounce' for us with Unsworth was.......? 20 mins against Watford. Only us.
8 games to January 1st. 4 at home 4 away.
I can only see 2 wins max. 2 draws max 4 defeats minimum. So 8pts max. We might get zero!!
Plus we have 'injuries' galore. Some of these recent injuries have taken players out of the firing line. We're now down to Williams Jags Kenny and Martina as fit to play in defence (rather than fit for purpose). That is scary!!
