Koemans downfall

Worth pointing out the difference in tactics between a couple of players who helped get rid of our last 2 managers...

Baines, who dispatched of Martinez by phoning it in, relinquishing responsibility (Ie, pens), and kicking a man when he was down by dropping thinly veiled snide hints to the press, without having the balls to say what he really felt.

And Niasse, who kept a quiet dignity and proved a stubborn man wrong by knuckling down and trying even harder than anyone else, actually scoring goals that extended his stay longer than it may otherwise have been, and still refusing to say anything bad about the man or the club.

1 of them may have had all the ability in the world, but only one of them has any class.
Great post....The Church Mouse is generally totally exempt from any level of criticism on here....

His agent was on Dutch telly tonight, there is a book out this agent and the author said agents try so many deals only a few off and gave example that Rob Janssen tried about 20 odd strikers for Everton lol

Probably because he's served the club loyally and with distinction for a long time.
We all wanted Roberto out and if he helped grease the wheels then so be it.
A quality player in his prime and an Evertonian, sadly now past his best and getting plenty of pelters on here.

Golf and too passive on the sideline, was his downfall.

Still, martinez gestures in the sideline was the worst. I hate to think about it. When he tried to mimik a word, to a player three miles away. It was insane

if writing a book on Koemans downfall, amongst other things the main chapter would be "A Tale of Three Strikers".....Lukaku, Niasse and Giroud.
The ramifications of the various decisions and subsequent actions with or by those three has had and continues to have a massive influence on our season.
One always wanted away, never got us, expended little energy or effort but scored goals.
One scored beautiful goals elsewhere where he wasn't particularly treated well, came here, apparently agreed a deal and then decided the Big Smoke should remain home.
And one was scorned, humiliated, treated as an outcast, vilified publicly and left to rot in the stiffs. He didn't even get a locker or a club suit.

One remains, and his effort, determination and sheer fight is proving the vast majority of us wrong. And he's scoring goals.

There has to be a moral in there like the Three Little Pigs.

He's ginger, the end.

Saving that for the film

It was a great film.

RK walked away with 9-10 million gross. His brother.. a nice brown envelope too.

Do you think think they give a toss about EFC? Everything about him, his body language, his statements, his going
on holiday at the wrong time, told you that he was here temporarily... one way or another.
