He is better than any other striker we have and thats not even up for debate. Being judged on about 4 games with that clueless Dutch dope in charge.

For all his endeavour, Niasse is still one of the worst players in our history and DCL is miles from being ready.

Yet Niasse has scored some goals in a similar amount of game time

He's played 17 times for Barca, scored the winner against Villareal, and scored in the Champions League against Ajax.

He's played 26 times in Spain's U17 to U21 and scored 20 goals.

He went to Malaga because he couldn't get regular football because he was behind Suarez and Neymar and scored 14 goals last season.

Not that useless, then?
It's one thing I'll never understand. Good players switch leagues and become terrible players. For example that Aspas who went to Liverpool has been excellent since returning to Spain and I swear he was the worst player I'd ever seen

I agree.

We're persisting with DCL who is showing no more than Sandro but Sandro has shown he can score in a quality league. We should be giving Sandro the starts DCL is getting.

Dirk Kyut was finished at Liverpool. Moved to Fenerbache and then Feyenoord were he became their talisman and bagged loads of goals on their way to winning the league last season. He's now retired.

The Prem is an entirely different kettle of fish, it seems.

But still the FSW was right in persisting with him. Scoring was secondary to his physicality and hold-up ability.

You might also need to consider that forwards are given much less space in the prem than in la liga.

I agree he needs more games but he isn't a central striker he's a wide forward. It's baffling that Walsh and Koeman thought he played right down the middle. You play him from a wing or off a striker.
