Poor joke.
No attempt at a joke. I listed our most successful ever manager, a current established top manager, and a young one with a gathering reputation for exciting togger.

OK one of them is sadly out of the frame, but it doesn't stop me wishing.

Maybe I read it wrong, apologies if that's the case. However it was surely a wish list of realistic choices not impossible choices.

I should've put my reasoning with the first post.
1 is impossible, but was listed out of reverence.

While the others are living, they're not impossible, with the right aspirations and plans.

Agreed. Everybody currently available should be possible in truth....some on here quite happily doing the 'Little old Everton' routine. Until we lose that small-time, inferiority-laden, losing mentality at all levels of the Club we're staying right where we are.

I think some people forget what's possible (positively) with Everton yet are very quick to dwell on the negative aspect of what's possible. In all matters you reap what you sow.

i don't get the 'love in' for Tuchel. A guy who looks good in the relatively poor German league and failed to improve on what Klopp did at Borussia. Seems to me that we'll be getting 'Klopp-lite'. I'd rather go for a proven winner like Mancini.

My opinion is changing daily on it,but the more im thinking about it the FSW is the best option as he combines all the attributes of all the managers we are looking at.
Managed big clubs (Chelsea, Madrid)
Premier league experience (RS, Chelsea, Newcastle)
Proven winner
Plays good football.
