The main people who will be raking it in from the waterfront is Peel Group.

That's a given.

On the flip side, given the political situation ( sanctions against Russia ), it makes sense for any wealthy Russians to diversify into areas in other parts of the world, and, if there's a profit to be made by the Mersey he might be interested. That's one hell of a leap though.

Peel are one of the biggest land owners/developers in the UK, coupled with the fact that the Olayan Group own 25% of Peel the need for a 3rd party facilitator isn't really required.

The problem with Peel is that they are only really appear to be interested in being land owners with the hope of that land value being increased by others building on it for them, the issue with them holding land on the docks is that it's quite low value right now, there's huge potentially for it to be worth considerably more but Peel won't invest heavily to make that happen and others won't either because the return simply isn't there.

It's the same reason why no-one is building much needed office space in the city, businesses just aren't willing to move here (and the council aren't doing anything to improve that) which means building grade A office space doesn't provide enough return to make it worthwhile - without it the city can't attract larger companies but who is willing to build it knowing they'll get low rent for a while? The city needs someone who is willing to pump large amounts of money into a high quality business district and be happy that they won't see any sort of return on that investment for a long time and that isn't going to happen.

You have everyone's complete attention friend.

Feel free to elaborate.
A source to be trusted says he was at a meeting in London a few weeks ago, WRD has said today Peel are about to exchange contracts with Everton on the Stadium, so his only interest could be to be involved in the construction of the new stadium through his and moshiri's companies, who knows?

There is no future for Usmanov at Arsenal, he and Moshiri tried to get a foot in the door and take over that club, they failed, I happen to think it is only a matter of time before Usmanov sells up and joins Moshiri here, Everton is the plan B for them.

Most of your post is is pretty common knowledge/conjecture.
Its the part of Usmanov attending an Everton meeting , especially in London that doesnt sound quite right.
Not to say it never happenened , but a lot more people other than your "trusted source" would have reported said meeting by now.
But as I said if you care to elaborate on the info from your source there's plenty of "ear's pricked " waiting friend.

This meeting has been talked about on another forum for a while

I'm not sure if this article has been posted yet, probably has, but it raises interesting points which both make the possibility of Usmanov coming to us more viable and at the same time...less so.

I've always been of the opinion that he won't be coming. It makes no sense whatsoever that he would buy Moshiri's stake and double his shareholding in Arsenal if he had the intention of moving on in a few months to another premier league team. I hope he does eventually realise however that Arsenal is run by some American loony bin and he has no future whatsoever at the club and comes here. It would change or fortunes spectacularly.
