you seem to think that outside of the city limits people weren't affected mate, the whole of the North West was hit in pretty much the same way, if you are gonna adopt a 'look after our own' mentality then it won't take long for the rest of the region to leave you isolated, I suppose then I will have to not speak at the match for fear of not having the right accent. I had to move to the other side of the world to find work, with a backpack and feck all in my pocket, so the city wasn't the only area affected at all, and I fail to see how it will affect the city more than somewhere 14 miles away.

Im not gonna rip Ghost anymore, I just wanted to put across that not everybody who doesnt work is lazy, everybodys story is different, clearly there are workshy scumbags out there, but to tar the whole of Liverpool as work shy is just as silly as saying every England fan is a Nazi.

Well there is an airport in Liverpool.

thats good for tourism but not so much for industry and trade, and it's loosing money.

look there are some horribly, sly, nasty, lazy, uneducated gets around here, but there will be in every city you come across, liverpool has suffered as a result of industrial decline and a lack of leadership at times thats why the unemployment is so high.

i don't get how he works out that it was a bigger rise in jan.

from 15 % to 17.5%, now from 17.5% to 20%. thats a 2.5% rise each time. I dont get how he reckons it was a bigger rise (value not %) in jan
