Yeah read that earlier. Kicking someone when they are down and then having the audacity to boast about it in the press. Very unprofessional from him. Should be reprimanded by UEFA for it imo. Refs are meant to be completely impartial and professional throughout. Obviously this one was not.

Think Koeman being a massive biff probably wound him up to make him say something.

Everton would have known about Koeman’s demanding methods - aloof and uncommunicative were two common complaints on the south coast - when they appointed him 16 months ago.



Indeed, it was a major reason why he got the job ahead of Manuel Pellegrini. The board and senior players at Goodison wanted a boss to ruffle feathers after the softer regime of Roberto Martinez.



Whereas Martinez would let players and coaches queue up together in the canteen, Everton’s first-teamers now have to wait until Koeman and his staff are served before they get their food.

What may seem like a minor issue takes on significance when morale is at rock-bottom and players feel aggrieved at being treated like schoolkids.



Koeman has always given his brother Erwin the responsibility of taking training sessions while he stands apart until a correction has to be barked out. He has variously accused the team of lacking passion, aggression and self-belief this season.



Koeman usually keeps his office door shut. While he can be charming and a good listener, it doesn’t encourage players to go to him with problems.

Clearly points out the two extremes in personalities.

Martinez the idealist. Koeman the tough guy pragmatist

Both too stubborn in their beliefs to change. Hence why they failed.
 
My lad who is a third generation season ticket holder(hes 17 and been going since he was 7) just said to me if Moyes or anyone like that comes here he is not going again. I broke inside ...more due to the fact I wouldnt have that bond like I had with my Dad previously...what the [Poor language removed] is going on at Everton.... Ive always tried to stay positive no matter what....
We need to [Poor language removed] this nobed Koeman right off...along with the happy clappers fav kenwright and his buds...How far have we sunk to want some loser like Moyes anywhere near us? Or even people suggesting kin Fat sam?
Soz for the negativity might have to have a drink to chill...
