Not a fan of that myself.
Well, he's going to play isn't he mate? So's Rooney
So if you want a 4-4-2, that's kind of where he has to go

This.Coleman and Bolasie can't come back soon enough
I will give him that, his wide options on the right have been limited
That being said, he's not wanted to play Kenny who was the only other player on the books who might have been able to help with that
So in essence, he makes his own problems.
Come on Ron, tonight would be a great time to start the revival and start the healing process.
Unlike a lot on here, I still hope you succeed.
Some have wanted to see you fail from the beginning, just so they could say "I told you so". Start the fightback tonight and get some steam up ahead of the Arsenal game.
I don't believe this to be true at all.
name names Thomas.

Heard he got a good front 9 in this morning.
Finished 10 over. Obviously.
State of him.
yer he needs a solid run sandro doesn't he, bringing him on for 10 minutes at the end of a game we have been terrible isn't doing his confidence any good
would start him tonight, probably the best way to use him at the moment in Europe where its not as rough!
he wont start though
Seems a retrograde step, I know, but until we can establish some order of semblance about the place, I would also go with a good old 4-4-2 and a long ball game, to take some pressure off the defence and the midfield too, to some extent.
It would give time for our new midfielders to settle in and help Williams back to what he does best: some old style defending.
The problem is: who’s your target man up-front? I like DCL, but in the Premiership, he has at times proved a little lightweight, although I’d still give him a bit-part role to mix it up a bit. No, and in the absence of an out-and-out striker, I’d be bold and go for Mori who is both strong and brave in the air, and not abashed to wandering forwards during his past playing time when warranted, especially since he doesn’t seem to figure in a defensive role anymore.
Couple this with plenty of crosses into the box, especially with the hopefully not too distant returns of Bolasie and Coleman, they’ll be plenty to keep our opponents’ midfield and defenders busy, and with all those balls pinging about in their box, Rooney, Gylfi and whoever else might be lurking, should chip in with a couple of goals each.
Trouble is, Koeman’s only here to put himself in the shop window, and knowing that the likes of Barca won’t be impressed, he’s unlikely to be brave enough to make such a bold managerial decision.
Ah well, back to more of the same........
Mori is injured but I'd love the absolute scenes at him coming back and starting games as a striker.

I can't think of any we did score 3 tbh. I'm not saying sack him, I just think his whole tenure has been dull as dish water. I was happy with the solidity he brought back, but now that's gone, there's no positives atm.
He musn't be pulling up any trees in training though or he would probably be given a go.
