Short memories here

This the same Kevin Miralles who has been here for 5 years under 3 managers and had done sweet FA in that time ?

Now all of a sudden he is our saviour ?

Wowzers

All about balance of the team. He has pace, runs with the ball, does actually track back (DCL and Vlasic have cost us goals in this regard), and can score a goal.
Even Lennon would be useful right now. It's a no brainier to put him in the team for me.

Rather have lookman in the team tbh

He is quick direct and has that something and equally frustrating as Miralles.

Thing is Lookman is still a kid and Miralles isn’t

To be fair he said Lennon isnt fit right now.

Agreed though we could do with his pace and work rate of nothing else. Same as Mirallas above he is of a decent enough standard. Never going to tear any trees down but can do a job which the first team are currently not doing.

I genuinely think fans are stupid when it comes to wingers. Idk why, but they expect them to have some profound impact on every match. If they don't, they are turbo crap.

I think he's never been given a proper run in one or two positions. he's played across the front 3 without any real partnerships or settled players around him.

They can have a massive impact. A player with pace can push a defence 5/10 yards deeper, allowing more space for a number 10 for example. In the absence of any decent strikers, getting the balance right in the other attacking areas is crucial, and something we've missed.

That is my point. People don't seem to realize that in certain systems wingers are largely ignored for the majority of the game. What they do is stretch the field and force teams to play deeper (like you said). It makes a huge impact on how teams defend against you.
