Okay. Let's get one thing straight. This lad is a talented footballer. You don't score 15 goals in La Liga for an average team as a 21 year old unless you have something about you. Clubs like Atletico wouldn't be interested in him either.

He's settling into a new country, in a dysfunctional team for a manager who has lost the plot, and seems to be suffering with his fitness and confidence too. I think the management are also struggling to find his best position too which doesn't help.

I'm hoping he is mentally strong enough to come through this as we could see a fantastic return on our investment if so. In the meantime he needs our support, not dissing on some internet forum or other.

Perhaps a game or 2 with the U23s may help.

Just play him. In a side with little striker options or pace he needs a run in the team. He cant do any worse and only way he will "adapt" is playing more.

All RK needs to do is play him and tell him to get in the box more. We know he can finish he's just dropping too deep because he scored a lot of goals that way last year.

Sandro is a really good player just Koeman is using him badly and not giving him individual instructions.

Koeman can't be blamed entirely for Sandro mate.

The lad looks like he can't do a thing right atm.

That isn't purely down to the manager.

That being said, I want him to play, up front - with a partner in DCL.

Him and Rooney don't work together, but him and DCL might.

Not based on his appearances or us so far he isn't. Runs about a lot but has no end product. His shooting has been awful.

You really can't write him off yet. He's in the same box as Ross, Klassen, DCL and someone who needs time to adapt and acclimatise and everything will be ok. Not all players hit the ground running. He's a product of Barca and so you can't go through the system and get a few appearances at Barcelona for no good reason. He couldn't get in ahead of the MSN strike force obviously, and there were already back ups there as well so he's got to be given a chance.
