After first 8 games in Martinez last season we were on 13 points having scored 12 conceded 8 and only lost one game despite playing Chelsea, spurs, Liverpool and City. We've conceeded 13 goals to date with only a slightly more difficult set of opponents - surely defending is a valid area to be concerned about?

Probably. There is no hiding place for Koeman now.

He had 2 weeks to prepare a team for this game. He had 2 weeks to form a tactic to win. Clearly he did duck all (swear) in 2 weeks and the team rotated AGAIN goes and plays badly AGAIN.


That is the thing here, it's not the poor performances it's the same performance again and again. Nothing is changing no matter if it's Chelsea, United or Brighton. We practically lost to brighton, who weren't even in the division last year.

In a further 2 weeks we could be out of 2 competitions. You know what? If koeman is allowed to take us out of 2 cups then it just goes to show how ducking small time this club is. Absolutely no pride or passion from anyone, hoping it gets better? Embarrassing.

When is enough, enough? At what point do we call time on this? Apparently it's not after performing so poorly without a clue for so long now. Do we actually wait until we are in a relegation fight when it's too late? Do we wait until the end of the season and piss away another year? Waste all that money spent because the manager doesn't have a clue?

The coming few weeks are a chance for everyone to show their true colours. Either koeman does his job and starts winning or the club needs to be ruthless and not accept this as satisfactory . If we do neither, then what is the point? We all accepted spending nothing for 2 years, why not accept this expected losses as well.

That's it though Joe - Gueye goes off and the whole team just falls apart. Why can't our centre half play against one sodding side without being babysat the entire game? There's no one taking any responsibility - Oh apart from Rooney, and he's rewarded by the biggest teds ripping him one every week. What's that, 3 league goals in 8 games this season? Carries on at that rate he'll get 12-15 goals and that's a good return.
