It'll be interesting to see how he sets the team up over the next three games ( assuming he's still here )

According to Moshiri's law of diminishing returns the team would be expected to :

Brighton = balanced formation / win.

Lyon = as many number 10 as you can get on the pitch at one time / lose.

Arsenal = give every player a white flag to shove up their hoop / lose.

I fear a scenario where we get a few results, then are dismal, a few results, dismal, over and over. Hovering around 13th/14th place, in no real danger but achieving nothing. Sackability should be based on improvement on last season, not avoiding relegation. Unless there is substantial, instant improvement he should be gone by Remembrance Day.

And a seagull will poo in Pickford's eye at the Brighton match.

Arsenal is a lost cause. We never have any luck with the goons except that one time last season when Williams was actually useful.

Brighton is definitely an expected loss or draw.

We don't win away from home, ever

The game at Brighton is huge.
The vote of confidence in the manager by Moshiri is a clear indication that everybody at the club , and outside, is aware of the crisis.
There can be no hiding that a performance is needed from the players if they want the manager to keep his job.

The manager knows he is under pressure, it will be interesting to see which players he sends out...and maybe even more interesting which one are not included.

No formation is the problem. If we set up with the right players then 3-5-2 will be sound.

E.g.
  • Holgate as one of the CBs for pace
  • No Martina
  • For the love of God only one of Schneiderlin and Gueye
  • Davies at CM
  • Sig as a 10
  • The front 2 must contain DCL

In theory but we know he won't play the right team and I don't think we have the full backs to provide the width maybe Kenny but it's expecting alot from a kid to carry our width. Against Brighton we should be attacking from the off but the sad fact is with our centre backs we can't play a high line. We are short up front, on the wings and at the back.
