Calm
Let's be honest here, our rapid rise that period caught everybody by surprise.
How bad were we before then mate?

Gates of 12000 kind of says it all.How bad were we before then mate?
I still think the Stoke away cup game , 3rd round , was the catalyst.Gates of 12000 kind of says it all.
Kendall saved from the bullet by Philip Carter, then that game against Oxford and the rest is history.
AgreeDeffo mate. Koeman's problem now is that it looks like he's lost most of the fans.
Anecdotes galore from that game. Kendall just opening the windows in the dressing room to let the players hear the Blues travelling support one that sticks in my mind.I still think the Stoke away cup game , 3rd round , was the catalyst.
We had just been walloped 3-0 by bottom of the table Wolves then held 0-0 by Coventry.
The Stoke game was our last throw of the dice for the season (and probably Howard's ) 6,000 Everton and an amazing atmosphere.
A great day out and a taste of what was to come.
The general consensus amongst those non - blues I talk to is that he knows his fate.
I honestly believe that a fortnight today about this time, we will hear he has been relieved of his duties.
My elder lad often said that he reckoned we were too nice to our manager's given our lack of success. This gave potential future managers the feeling that if they joined Everton they would be given an easy ride if and when matters got sticky.I’m not convinced mate. But only through us not sacking managers all that often.
If the form continues he has to go. That’s just the way it is.
Admittedly the Sunday red tops, but a couple of them stating he has until the end of this month to get things sorted or he's out.For me if he was going to be sacked, now and the last week was the right time,if in a few games time he has lost them etc,you might get the press saying again he has x amount of games to save his job,no one knows how many games he might have to save his job as its all guess work
Dark, dark days. How bad were we before then mate?

A bit of an understatement, but the next two league games are crucial. I'm not counting Lyon, I honestly believe we've written that off I also believe those high up must be weighing their options, if the worst comes to the worst in those two games.Said a while back I’ll start to truly believe things have changed if we sack him.
A big club probably would have by now.
