What family?

Basically his step son.

Argued with esk about this a few times, like his step son would give one flying f about Arsenal, he is already a multi millionaire 'in his own right' and is set to basically inherit a massive amount of money from usmanov as it stands anyway you would assume, so exactly why would a 30% share in a football club in England matter to someone who would be inheriting a controlling stake in USM holdings and numerous other companies?

Dublin is a capital city and offers extremely favourable tax/rent rates compared to London, There are other factors at play too.

Liverpool, as a competing city to London within the UK, will never attract business from there. As for telecomms ownership unless Usmanov buys up Virgin or BT it's irrelevent.

Usmanov owns a huge slice of Megafon - Russias second biggest Telecom company, he owns a huge slice of mail.ru - another huge internet/google style company in Russia and they own Vkontact - basically Russias facebook.

All nice and such, and they will both expand exponentially over the next ten years into the eastern/china markets, but they will have zero chance of getting a foothold in the saturated markets of europe/america, they are starting from zero against massive established mega corp ztyle companies - they won't even waste the time and effort doing so.

A more likely scenario is post brexit - Britain strike deals with Russia and those deals are funnelled in through Liverpool - IF Usmanov and Liverpool waters are effectively the same entity. but that is a massive leap to draw that conclusion. For starters would take a severing of the bend over and take it up the Arsenal from the USA relationship we have and would be political suicide for any PM to do those deals - as the pro american media would slaughter whoever agreed deals with them.

More likely would be a scenario that sees Usmanov realising that Liverpool waters would be a very sound and high profile investment, as would owning a football team in this league, which - even though currently he doesnt need it, would give him an added security in case he fell out of favour in Russia with Putin etc. That after all was the driving reason behind Abramovic becoming owner of Chelsea in the first place, he made himself so high profile that it protected him (and also showed he was not gonna be meddling in Ruussian politics by making football his focus)

Doesn`t matter what he owns or how much money he has got, he is not coming to Everton we is stuck with Mosh .....

Top post.

Mosh should be tickling Amanda Staveley if he has any sense rather than Usmanov. She's looking to invest in a PL club - was at Newcastle v RS -and has a £28bn fund behind her of mainly Middle Eastern gentlemen

Good shout, you think we could keep Rooney away though ???

How does one apply for this job? I think I would make a great step son and I'll even put in a good word about us and diss the fam-blud crew while i'm at, even though it might make a dent in my inheritance.

Think him and your mother have to, well... anyway looks like @wainy is ahead of you:

Just seen him in the greggs in L1. Asked if he was buying us and he called me a "scruffy little ming" and said he's nailed me ma. Make of that what you will.

She's 44 ......... therefore falls somewhere between the Auld Slapper & the "PR" girl who owns a black beetle.
Face of a horse from certain angles so you may well be right :)
Well you wouldn’t really be looking at her face would you
The top of her head or maybe the back of her head
I’d spend most of my time looking at her bank books.
