bag a yoko
Player Valuation: £10m
I imagine he'll wait until we've played lyon, Arsenal and Chelsea before he buys us. I would.
Exactly it seems as though Usmanov was hedging his bets.
His first choice was always Arsenal and Everton his fallback position
When the yanks showed interest in buying Everton he had to move quicker than expected and sent Moshiri scurrying down to get a foot in the door.
If he fails to get control or a seat on the board at Arsenal then he has a choice to make.
But at least he now has the choice.
He's an educated guesser at best, nothing special about him whatsoever. In defence of ESK, he does not claim to be ITK about Usmanov. He is using his experience and knowledge of football finance to make a judgement call. When someone, writes a piece, backed up by as much background knowledge and as convincing as ESKs, Im listening, but for now he makes a convincing argument.

He paid 200m for Moshiri shares mate, which would value what usmanov owns now at 400m so 125m less than the kroenke offer, given that everyone commented that at the time he paid moshiri a very generous amount for the current worth of his stake, I dont see how people are now trying to make out kroenke offer is lowball
Actually makes complete sense that, an angle I had not considered before.
Was there not a lot of talk about the Yanks just before Moshiri came in?
Yes Bill was talking to yanks and they had seen the books and had expressed an interest.Actually makes complete sense that, an angle I had not considered before.

Genuine question, do you mean you called the Usmanov takeover rather than the Moshiri one? Just because calling the Moshiri one while it was actually happening doesn't really require a huge amount of foresight as far as I can see.I reckon this is happening, there's just too many coincidences / clues happening right in front of our face but due to our history and 'nothing good ever happens to us attitude' we don't believe it.
I called the Moshri take over on the day it happened, when only 1 or 2 other seen it coming and it wasn't being talked about as it looked blatantly obvious due to what was happening elsewhere and I'm calling this.
Usmanov will not invest in Everton as he will not sell his shares in Arsenal
To be honest we are all educated guessers ( some more educated than others ( in this whole affair. He's an educated guesser at best, nothing special about him whatsoever.
