Our young fans.

I take my hat off to them, I really do.

I was lucky enough to see some of the '80's, I've seen us win things and be boss.

However fans under 30 will have put up with some bad stuff, yet are still blue through and through. They've never seen anything truly great in blue, but follow us still.

I’m so frustrated right now I really don’t know what to say to my 15 year old nephew. A blue like his Uncle amongst reds.

I’m devastated he has to see a club in such a state yet again, with little prospects.

Just over the whole thing at the minute.

Oh I don't know.
As things stand, they may see a promotion challenge soonish

If some of you think it's bad enough as it is for us 18-30s, then just think how bad it's gonna be when we try to bring up our kids as blues. There's the potential for a whole lost generation of Everton fans and it's down to the board destroying our soul since the 90s. The current regime are exacerbating the problem with their false hope and false dawns. Don't bluff us. We've seen it all before.

I was four when we won the league in 1970,so really missed out on that, grew up through the "so close, yet so far"agonies of the 70's and 80's,i thought we were jinxed and I'd never see us win anything, then it changed gloriously, thats the hope for the young blues today, however what I would say was it was a far more level playing field back then and it will be much harder to achieve any glory nowadays unfortunately.

I can only just remember the FA Cup final. My Dad used to talk about how great Everton were, he was born in Mancot and knew Rats when he was younger, I think he wanted to be me like him when I used to play. We've rewatched the cup winners DVD 5 or so times together when I was younger and I used to love it.

And then it started to go down hill.

My brother used to support us, but he quickly lost interest and sticks to Wrexham now, despite the bigger pains they've been through and the good times (went to the Boston game, LDVs fan etc with him) at least there is a reality there and you know not to get to heady in your ambitions.

Now my Dad can't stand watching us and I don't blame him. Watched the second half with him yesterday and all we did was just moan and laugh at them it's that bad.

My 14 year old son is obsessed with them and says things like "dad imagine us winning at anfield" or "beating Spurs at Wembley this year" (in the league)

that's what this this club has got our young modern day fans aspiring to!!!!
It's pathetic....

Born in 1993, seen absolutely nothing. Can't even begin to imagine what winning a trophy would feel like.

In that time, I've seen Liverpool bring into my school: European Cup, UEFA Cup, League Cup, FA Cup.

Life ain't fair.

I'm lucky enough to see us be great in the 80's too mate. Keep the faith, because if we do finally get back to where we belong, it will be even more sweeter, and it will be your generation that deserve it more than anyone.

Saw us win the FA Cup in '95 but was too young to fully appreciate/celebrate the achievement. The scenes the other week when Niasse knocked in that winner against Bournemouth were mental in the Gwlady's St and that was just a league game, christ knows how we'd react to a cup win. There's a lot of pent up emotion in us Evertonians right now just waiting to be unleashed.
