In koeman's defence, he is being reactive.people called for niasse to be given a chance and he was. People then wanted him starting and he did. Same instance with Kenny. People wanted holgate to start. They wanted Rooney dropped, two up front, klaassen dropped, Davies to start vlasic to start. He answered every call that fans thought would help. And that's just this week alone! But nothing worked
 

Martinez was afforded around 18 months of crap football/results before he was given the boot. I don't see us getting rid of Ron so early into the season without giving him a good chance to put it right.
Whether that's the right thing to do or not, only time will tell.

I think this is also part of the problem, how many different starting 11s have we had this season? If I had to guess, I'd say more than any team in the league. And this shows. They're playing like a bunch of strangers, no chemistry or cohesion. No battling through together to grind out a result.
 
I've just seen, we have 2nd worst goal difference, only an 8% conversion rate,scored only 4 goals, christ Liverpool who have only won 1 in 7 average 20 shots per game, think we have had a total of less than 40 shots.

I'm sorry but I can't show support for this guy it is embarrassing at the moment. The other thing is, Koeman's sides seem to have theses sorts of spells every season; I cannot see how he is ever going to take us to the next level.

Are things going to change? That is the question here that should be getting asked. Will koeman change this about or us the damage done already and there is no going back?

I said it last week but this has echoes of 2 seasons ago where it was put down yo a tough start, bad luck, players fault etc. Koeman for me at least needs to show change and have convictions about it. Yesterday he did show some change with the team which is a positive. But it felt almost like it wasn't a pre determined thing, simply a this didn't work so I'll throw these players in and hope it changes.

I can see us beating Brighton in 2 weeks, but I have a gut feeling this will be the next couple of months for us, the odd win among some terrible results just to keep going with the hope it will change. 2 weeks a win against Brighton makes koeman look like he has turned it around but it means nothing if we then lose the following week.

It will be a long couple of months for us blues I fear, I can't see us enjoying anything for too long.
 
Vote of confidence from Moshiri, delivered by none other than best mate Jim White, gone past the 'starting to be embarrassing' point has this now.

Two weeks to make changes now - whilst the season still has everything to play for, wait for the next 4 games and we will effectively be out of Europe, out of one of the cups and in the bottom 3.

Two high class managers available for nothing in terms of compensation, guess we will wait till there's none available and then pay out 10m in compo for a flavour of the month manager in the current league.

This isn't just from our poor start this season, it's a continuation of the end of last season! Different players same outcome. It's different from the Martinez days as I am not actually worried because we have some very good players and I don't despise the manager, although I think it's time now koeman goes..
 

He won't be gone for Brighton, but the vote of confidence from Moshiri is ominous enough in its own right. A public acknowledgement that there are problems.
It's just the opening ritual of a process that has one outcome only.

At home so far Brighton have beaten Newcastle and West Brom and lost only to City - and held them close until 70 mins, the way we look atm mate we will not beat them at their ground.

Saw them against Arsenal yesterday, they are well organized, and working together as a team, that will be enough for them to beat us

It is the same and yet different.

There is the same atmosphere around the place and both produced terrible football teams.

The big differences though is the RK has spent £150 million to have a woeful side and at least with Martinez you could see what they were trying to do as a side.

He won't be gone before Brighton, we will lose, then with Lyon a fewdays later they won't risk changing before it, we will lose, then a few days later Arsenal - big game - they won't risk changing - lose, then a cup game against Chelsea - which they will panic about changing before - lose, rinse - repeat.

This is the perfect time to change a dead duck manager - but unlike the rs with Rodgers - we will wait and wait till too long
