Usmanov

No suprises here. This was always happening. When is the only issue ... USM FINCH FARM ... no reason at all to do this other than pave the way to becoming involved with the club. Moshri came to make sure all was good and that the long term plan would succeed . We will be Man City rich very soon. Watch this space !
I want Usmanov to throw so much cash at the club, that FFP lands us a £50m fine for us to laugh at lol.

Don't do it to yourselves lads haha, this is Everton here, nice things don't come easy anymore.

For what it's worth, which is absolutely nothing, I don't think he's coming here.

I have no information to backup why I think that, I just can't see it happening even if he does sell his Arsenal shares.

I think a lot will depend on future tv rights and global advertising.

The bigger clubs in the league want control of their own broadcasting. This is very possible if Netflix, YouTube and Facebook get involved. Success brings in viewers and fans.

Everton are not successful.
If the stadium gets built and we can somehow be like the current Spurs then we would be a huge draw to Usmanov and his business prowess.

I am sure that was part of the thinking.
The first 18 months of Moshiri though have been underwhelming and the necessary progress has not materialised.
That is the biggest obstacle. We need the stadium and we need a vibrant team.

Currently we still have neither.

I just can't get my head round why anyone, with any certainty, could say he's categorically not going to invest in Everton, unless it came directly from Usmanov himself. I'm pretty certain nobody saw Moshiri coming...
It's one of those ITK stories that you've got a 50/50 chance of getting right.
Do I think he'll come? Haven't got a clue, but stranger things have happened.
Moshiri and Usmanov tried for 10 years to get Kroenke out of Arsenal, their whole intention was to buy in and force others to sell, after 10 years they have realised hell will freeze over before Kroneke sells to them, he never gave them a say in anything all the time they were there.

They want their own Prem Club, one of them owns 49% of us now, to me it makes no sense whatsoever BUT for Usmanov to come here, he's getting on a bit, can't take 20bn with you, he can come here, watch his team in a brand new stadium and achieve what he's been trying to for 10 years, hell he can even park his boat outside the ground.

It's going to happen, 100%.

It's been said over and over again about the lure of Liverpool Waters and the new stadium.... but that (at least the stadium) needed a lot of groundwork, which Moshiri appears to have done. Also, why did Moshiri (as a consortium) buy the Liver Buildings? To me that's so he (and hopefully Usmanov) can bookend their investments in Liverpool Waters with the Liver Buildings on one end and our new stadium at the other.

As many have said it's all to do with money and there's a lot to be made in and around BM.

This all day long
A few of us have stated from the beginning that Liverpool Waters is the real game here.
Billions and I mean literally Billions of pounds to be made there.
Everton getting a new stadium with a successful team in place brings a feel good factor to the area plus guaranteed footfall and ancillary services which only increases the value of the whole project.
The fact that Usmanov and Moshiri are football fans and slight egomaniacs means that we can benefit from this.

While I understand there's not been much officially on this and indeed many ITKs are colder on it it will not go away until he has sold his shares and chosen not to invest.

He will obviously keep his cards close to his chest and is unlikely to let it be known he wants to buy Everton even if he does, as it will drive down the price.

It just seems entirely logical he would follow his business partner when the opportunity arose. It would also make sense for him to be agitating to move the shares on at around the time the stadium looks set to progress forward.

Why did Moshiri go first? Any number of reasons. Moshiri may have been deemed a better front guy to do the initial groundwork? An easier public face? Better at getting different agencies to come on board.

I hope this happens and as soon as possible. The club will continue to stagnate while the old board are in situ as they are. The club needs the mega investment of an Usmanov, Moshiri directing traffic like Levy does at Spurs and a team in the board below him of industry leaders who know how to grow a brand.
And if time teaches us anything it's that Moshiri and Usmanov know how to grow a buisness.
Football clubs are a buisness now and with one or two exceptions need to be run that way.
I sincerely hope UEFA/FIFA find the Neymar transfer to have fallen foul of FFP and punish PSG heavily with bans or point deductions.

Watch him buy the RS now, genuinely think I'd have an aneurysm
The Evertonian in me would believe that... but honestly he's not going to buy the most hated rival of his current business partner and friend. If he were to look for anther club to invest in that's not Everton, I think it would be one in London... like QPR, Fullham... and bring them back to the Premier League in a flurry of glory. That way he's far enough away from Moshiri to not impede on his success.

But for me... if he sells his shares in Arsenal, he's here. ;)

I hope you're right mate, I really do.

Why would he buy a club with a loft extension sticking out of their ground like a boil on the backside of humanity , when he could buy a club with a brand new stadium beside an area from which he will make millions and most importantly he can park the yacht right outside and have his own private entrance

I suggest you open a twitterer account up and start relaying your info to the good Evertonians mate.
