Usmanov

Kroenke wants Arsenal private. To do that he needs to buy out Usmanov.

Usmanov knows he will never have any influence at Arsenal.

No one else is going to buys Usmanov's shares because they know that Kroenke will not give them any power.

If Usmanov really wants to effect change and make a great football team, like he's always said in his open letters to the board and fans, then his only choice is to sell to Kroenke and join Everton.

The only reason that I think why he wouldn't sell is that he doesn't like Kroenke and just to stick it to him that he'll never own 100% of the club.

And vise versa, Kroenke as we seen earlier in the year has absolutely no need to sell to Usmanov.

Not sure if they're the ones you're referring to but there you go. People unfortunately are taking every chance to have a pop at @The Esk and it's a shame he only lurks now as it'd be good to hear from him.

Some of the criticism aimed at him is warranted and some is over the top, the internet is a brutal unforgiving place full of tits like me unfortunately.

Nice try mate but I can't see him falling for that.

Agree about the over the top criticism. I bet plenty of those making snide digs were the same ones hanging off his every word and brown nosing him for 'updates' every 5 minutes. Rats.

?? It was an honest post mate, he's been lurking in this thread today and if he wanted to post I'm sure he would have, just thought I'd have a go at not being such a knob for once.

It unsettles me so won't happen again.

Think that was his original post or one of them anyway when he said why he didn't think it would ever happen, subsequently when challenged by people who gave reasons why it could and possibly would happen, he dug in his heels and became VERY much 100% against it even being a possibility mate, a stance he has since gone on to reiterate on several podcasts when the subject has come up, including one where he went on a podcast about Russian football and went directly against the opinion of one of their experts who understood the way their league and their oligarchs go about business.

Yup the internet it full of tits and teds mate, it's also full of people who like the attention becoming an 'expert' in something brings them via twitter, podcast listeners or clicks on their own personal website.

Paul is an intelligent and articulate bloke, but one who on more than a few occasions has been shown to have put his trust in people who hadn't a clue or indeed has overstated just how much he knew.
