Started playing Civ 6 after finding a decent discount to get for half price.

There's a fair bit changed between this and 5, the districts thing is something I have to learn quickly.

I got my copy for 50% off through some deal I saw advertised on reddit through a site called www.greenmangaming.com

It'll go on sale at some point during the Winter Steam Sale (Which is worth downloading the Steam app for as it will buzz you when something off you wishlist has gone on sale).

I'm having fun learning the new mechanics and there is enough that they've changed about it for me to say it feels like a different game compared to 5.

I'll only buy the complete "Game of the Year" or whatever edition. Never buy Civ new, no point as it's not the complete game on release.

I'm very curious about this one. I played the old ones for the original xbox and they were groundbreaking for their time. Fast forward and we have DICE (decent company) controlled by EA (Horrendously greedy organization) who have already put out a mediocre battlefront game. I remember there were talks about space battles and ground battles simultaneously (would have truly been groundbreaking), but the end product was so typical of any company controlled by EA. This one LOOKS REALLY GOOD and I hope it delivers.

I loved the original Battlefronts but a lack of single player campaign mode meant that there was no way I was stumping up for it, I might be persuaded on this one.

Take some doing to be as mediocre as the "first" Battlefront.

I think it'll be better, but still average at best. Not that it matters to me as I certainly won't ever go anywhere near it due to the loot box nonsense.

Metal Gear Solid 5 : Phantom Pain on PS Plus next month

I’ve played a very little bit of this new one and the start is absolutely mental.

I didn’t really get what the hell I was doing in the actual game though. Will redo be giving it another go though.

I managed to get through it all. Didn’t understand what was happening. Got to the actual game in the desert thing. And that was it.

Yeah that's what I mean - crap was going on and exploding left right and centre, nothing whatsoever explained and then I'm on a horse with some old fella telling me to scan something.

I play Japanese RPGs quite often, yet that opening was too Japanese. Totally WTF stuff.

I'm sure the rest of the game is great but was I hell going any further with it.
