I've always rated him, minus the part where he snagged the penalty from Baines.
He could pack a shot and occasionally a decent freekick, and we could've used the aggression lately, wouldn't know why Koeman does not play him even as a sub
Also pleasantly surprised me last season when he decided to sign a new contract, when it seemed everyone was keen on leaving.

I think he's also been treated badly - Ron doesn't like looking after players who need a bit of TLC - Lookman, Mirallas, Barkley - all talented people who maybe, without knowing the full details, needed a bit more attention and care and he couldn't be arsed so he's just let them go. oh look, they're our fastest, most inconsistent but some of our most talented players. oh well.

Koeman does not seem to like skilful players, or they have had words with him and gone out of favour. If these players go it's like the team has been castrated. So if by chance Koeman does go and we have a new manager, he will inherit a sadly depleted squad never mind there will be a bunch of players over 30 what else could be desired.

How come you left Rooney off’ve that list?

He has scored more PL goals than Baines, Lennon and Mirallas combined and multiplied by two since you are taking their whole careers into account
