Computer games.

@penev10 above is sort of right, but I'd add one thing.

If you have an original SNES, buy an Everdrive instead. The SD2SNES is a SNES cart with a SD card feature, which means you can play pretty much every single SNES game on the original console.

You can do the same with the Mega Drive, NES, N64 etc. An Everdrive is around £100 - I have two, the SNES and MD versions, and they're fantastic. I'll be picking up the N64 one soon.

What kind of tv are you using for the SNES and MD Tubes? I cant get my SNES to work on the HDtv.

Was kind of hoping the Switch will start offering all the back catalogue at some point. I'd pay per game at a decent price to have versions of games across all the Nintendo consoles that look good on a big hd tv.

A CRT mate. The below (not my picture but same TV).

You can get an RGB to HDMI upscaler, but older consoles don't really play nice with newer TVs.

Yeah was thinking it might be CRT. I don't think I'd ever get around to getting another one of those just to have the old consoles going.

I'll keep on dreaming about nes and snes and 64 games popping up on the eShop on my beloved Switch.

I might get it then. A mate of mine is having a FIFA tournament and I'm expected to win, I want to make it a sure thing.

I mean, even for a month its sound - yenno as a little try before you buy thing. FIFA for 10 hours as a tune-up before the full thing drops plus a 10 or 15% discount on the full game if you buy it digitally.

Then close to every game EA puts out for free, just as long as you have a sub to EA Access.

Never got around to getting Battlefield 1 and when I went to buy it, it dropped into the EA Vault, perfect.

The 10-15% discount on FIFA works out to nearly half the annual cost anyway so I might sort this out tonight.

Fifa, Sonic Mania and Cuphead next for me.

Cuphead looks like a breath of fresh air in the gaming world right now.

Fantastic art style too.

I have time for that.

Don't forget that buying digitally means you have 2 copies. One for you and a friend you are tethered with via game sharing.

Always worth.

If you play Ultimate Team and all that, you get discounts on packs and stuff too. Haven't touched that in a while but used to save a few quid when doing it.

Haven't bought a disc in I don't know how long. 55 quid for 2 copies for me and our kid, belter.

I will never give them a penny beyond the sticker price, that FUT is a genius scam.
