Davies had good game but Martina, really?!

Rooney was playing up front for most of the game. Sigurdsson wasn't playing out wide.

Was I watching the same game as you?
Sigurdsson didn’t get to move from the left wing until Rooney went off.

If he was playing up front then he needed to stay up front, instead he dropped deep far too often and it was left up to Davies who isn’t, and has never been a striker to play up top.

That sort of behaviour does not equate to having a good game when you constantly leave your position and require someone else to fill it.

He played where he was supposed to. You don't seem to understand our formation today.

No coincidence that the positions letting us down are striker, left centre half and left back. 99.9% of the fan base wanted those positions filled first at the beginning of the transfer window

Disagree. If Gana had been on the pitch he would have come close and presented a short option for Williams to pass to. Look back at the replay, there is no Everton player within 20 metres of Williams which forces him to try and thread a forward ball past Fellaini. Horrible error, but where was Morgan??

Koeman has to stop playing favourites with Schneiderlin, he has been dire this season bar maybe 2 games, but he keeps starting and typically playing the full 90.
Cannot find a replay but will concede your point. Regardless, attempt to thread a ball forward was Williams' decision and it proved disastrously poor. A shame because Toffees were holding their own to that point.

I said to my dad today, I don't know if prefer playing ok like today and still losing or getting a proper beating like the last few games.

In the end we had both today. FFS EVERTON.

I still have a tiny weeny bit of positivity in me. We'll still finish 7th. Doubt we'd get any higher as that would entail actually beating the teams above us which we simply can't do.
There was some good sign today, but we still didn't score, and nobody can defend a 4-0 defeat.

It's hard to tell if we're bad, or if we're just nowhere near the elite.
