Rather that than declaring ourselves as champions every season before the end of October
No Timbo that's an extreme alternative which would be equally as counter productive.

As a moderate I ask only for a reasoned approach to supporting Everton. I feel to get there we need to get rid of you cringey millennial shitheads who watch too much Italian football and want to be north curve ultras. You absolute f'ing blimps.

End of the day, we're all very good at being keyboard warriors nowadays.

The results - barring Atalanta - haven't been the main shock for me. The performances have been crap though and at the moment, it all looks a bit clueless, from the players right through to the board.

After a fantastic first half of the window, loads of mistakes were made in the second half of it and, despite all of the signings being decent or very good additions in their own right I believe, we've only done half the job by denying the manager of two players he asked for in key positions and, if something actually happened that I'm led to believe happened (by somebody reliable) then Koeman was told he did not have the money he was initially told he had available towards the end of the window.

That, if true, is a farce, and reeks of something majorly wrong at board level (and, btw, this isn't Moshiri - or at least, not in terms of him not willing to stump up cash).

However, it's not on the board to get the best out of the players we have got. He hopefully will find a way of striking a balance soon. If not, then it's going to be a long way back...

Millennials are the heart and soul of this club. Born in the late 80s /early 90s. First memories of the club are relegation fights. Seeing our 18 year old saviour sold. Seeing our CL dream die before it began. Seeing knives blunter than a Koeman offense taken into nuclear war zones. The occasional sniff of silverware being cruelly snatched away from us by inept coaching and gutless players.

We don't follow for the glory. We follow for the love. We didn't grow up when everton were powerhouses. We grew up when everton were on their knees. We will keep this club in safe hands. I think you need to pass on the mantle to us Chico. We will ensure the glory days come back. We will even let you aging park enders join in on the fun. Cause we are the true custodians of the future of Everton FC.

Did Burnley buy a whole new team in the Summer?

:coffee::coffee::coffee:
We were going to struggle buying so many players at once to the point where these games were going to be a tough ask to get results from. However the issue is not losing these games, it's the fact we don't look like we have any tactics in them beyond sitting very deep and hoping we steal a goal, far worse than when moyes was here.

The way the team is playing is suggesting that koeman after the window shut has no clue how to turn all these similar players into an attacking unit that works. It can be accepted that the attack isn't fluid or players aren't on the same wave length right now but we literally are resorting to hoofing it 40-50 yards as our main attacking outlet. We clearly aren't solid enough at the back to soak up pressure and we have nothing in terms of an idea in the final third.

I think that is the difference here, getting beat 3-0 is fine if there is something visibly out there to hope will click in the coming weeks, but there isn't. When our main attacking outlet is a 19 year old young striker from league one then that is essentially worse than Burnley for example, as good as lewen might be in the future he isn't that now
