Ronald Koeman discussion

We're shocking and crowd today wanted to crucify him at half time. Think we need to act fast to have a chance to get something out of this seaaon.

Never been at the Everton game during the late Martinez era, but today it was toxic.

Four shots on target in the past 3 matches. Bet that barely improves when you include the City and Stoke games.

Luckily for him we're playing Sunderland, Bournemouth and Burnley in quick succession so he'll get a reprieve there. If we don't win at least 2 out of those 3 though something really is wrong and it becomes hard to make a case for him staying.

Over the years we have had some terrible players, but in the main the managers worked with what they had and did seem to try their best, Moyes worked wonders with some players he did get abit of backing and quality of players did improve. Moyes never had the chance to blow £145 million, on paper the players Koeman has bought are quality players so if he can't work out a system to utilise them he shouldn't be manager. There plenty of manager that would jump at the chance to take on the Everton job with the squad we have.

As long as you're winning the dressing room harmony will be fine... So I wouldn't be surprised if squad harmony was at complete rock bottom. Koeman will likely front it all up in a way Martinez didn't though - be interesting to see the reaction that brings.
Morale is bound to be low in the squad with the performances and results so far. But I'd be surprised if Koeman has 'lost' any of his new signings, as virtually every player who joined the club this summer, cited Koeman as one of the main reasons that they joined.

Koeman can't win with some. If he criticises any of the players for their part in tonight's shambles he gets panned for throwing them under the bus and protecting himself but when he accepts responsibility he gets accused of still indirectly blaming the players!

Koeman derserves massive criticism for his part in our piss poor start to the season and tonight's abomination but let's not pretend that the players aren't part of the problem. We live bought poorly and have core of gutless cowards who are born losers playing for us. We can keep sacking managers all we want but until we address the fact that the club has been garbage for over twenty-five years now and the powers that be continue to let it be so nothing will ever change. :(
