Ronald Koeman discussion

I couldn't even be arsed to listen to him so I have no idea what he said. He'll repeat the mistakes over and over because he can't accept his tactics don't work.

What tactics? We don't pass, we don't press, we don't defend and counter, we don't cross, no incisive quick passing, we don't even shoot! Ony thing I see is a slow team that hoofs it.

Worrying times,we have never been a "kneejerk"club in these situations, however things aren't likely to improve Sunday, things go array Sunderland/Bournemouth and he's in deep trouble I fear, can only see unsy/big Dunc coming in at this stage if the board do lose confidence in him, which due to the financial implications,i don't think they will.....yet.

Wenger (I think) said the hardest part was keeping 25 plus players happy with only 18 on the pitch/bench and 14 playing. Trouble is I think RK has his favourites and, by completing alienating: Niasse, Barkley, Mirallas (and Geri etc).. you end up losing the dressing room.

I feel the same mate. Something doesn't quite sit right with me (not just the awful togger). Feels like there are underlying issues between the staff/board. Might just be because we're crap right now. Still not good though however you look at it. We've looked less than championship standard so far.
Koeman has been very vocal during the last 3 weeks of the window about the need to get a striker and left sided defender in. Maybe our failure to get these targets has caused a rift between koeman and Walsh/board. It's interesting there has been virtually no comment by Walsh with regard to our activity during the window, especially when you consider we'd spent 150m.

As long as you're winning the dressing room harmony will be fine... So I wouldn't be surprised if squad harmony was at complete rock bottom. Koeman will likely front it all up in a way Martinez didn't though - be interesting to see the reaction that brings.
