But the attack offers literally nothing meaning the defence is under constant pressure.

Any defence would struggle I think.

I'm all up for blaming the players, end of the day they're the ones on the pitch, however it is so blantantly obvious that there's no game plan, cohesion or workable formation for them to be set up in.

Agree to some extent, some horrendous decisions on the ball by Keane and Jagielka though.

Holgate has been targeted aswell.

This is what happens when you dont have quality upfront who can control the ball and help the team.

Get Sigurdsson off for Mirallas, put Rooney in behind so we at least have two natural inside fowards on each side and can at least attempt a form of 4-3-3.

Just get Sigurdsson off. He's useless.

You do seem to be suffering from a bit of monomania over Sigurdsson since he signed. Granted, he's not been good tonight, but no worse than others (bar Rooney). Besic on the other hand has been woeful. I'd take him off right now.
