Didn't they pay Martinez out an absolute severance wedge?Even if we got relegated I'd doubt we'd sack him
I know the board all to well to know they would be in tears regarding the compensation they'd have to pay.

I'd not go that far mate! They did sack El Fraudo after all even with all the compensation that we had to pay out there. I don't buy we'll be anywere near a relegation dogfight this season. We might be stuck with a Koeman season with awful spells followed by a good run, which isn't good enough but it will never get that bad. Anything less then a top half finish is bad enough to justify sacking.Even if we got relegated I'd doubt we'd sack him

Stoke you say? The same Stoke who we beat in a good result that lots on here sniffed at and dismissed?![]()
Moshiri made that call and had only been in charge 3 months before he made it mate.Yes but it took two failed seasons for them to finally do it. I think Koemans on more money also so it would hurt even more.
If sack him does that somehow lead to us improving our striker situation? Maybe some will come out the woodwork once mr Koemean with his harsh words has gone.
Yeah but Martinez still had like 4 years left on his deal, Koeman'd is up end of next seasonYes but it took two failed seasons for them to finally do it. I think Koemans on more money also so it would hurt even more.
Ronald Booman
Many won't believe what Joey Barton said this morning
However I'm quite sure there is a lot of truth in it. We simply didn't have the money to spend on a new striker.
Palace have seen what's gone on and have acted accordingly. Nothing wrong with decisiveness. Jordan has been man enough to admit his mistake .Do you want us to be like Palace? Then stand up and stop the knee jerk melts shouting you all down. It's ludicrous to want Koeman sacking now.
