Total guess work on your behalf. He could just have easily said I don't like playing for you, you're not keen on me and I'm moving on. Given that he's moving that seems the most logical explanation to me.

Only joking. I hate this scenario with Ross not him, there's clear suggestions that this isn't all on him and that his agent may be leading him astray or badly advising him.

Also, I've said numerous times that we shouldn't be rewriting history as it does a disservice to Barkley and Koeman. All in all, he had a good season last time out, but importantly from Early December to mid April I thought it was the best and most consistent I'd seen Barkley play for Everton. So no matter their differences Koeman got something out of Barkley and in turn Barkley responded to Koemans management.

I'm desperate for him to stay, but if it makes me a super fan that I think this Spurs deal stinks tgennso be it. My absolute number one concern is what's best for Everton.



This is nonsense. Why would you put Barkley ahead of the club, the same Barkley who Everton were so desperate to keep they offered him £5m+ per year. The fans and club have a right to be angry.

Barkley has pissed me off as much as he has the next person Ian, I just don't have a problem him turning Chelsea down if he didn't want to go there, would have been great if he had gone, gets him out the club and good riddance.
 

Ross just doesnt get in that Spurs side for me. Dembele and Son on bench, Wanyama wasn't involved. They're a much better team than us, and they all work very hard. Pochettino demands it. Ross Barkley and 'pressing' don't go together I'm afraid.
But if Koeman doesn't sharpen us up soon, Ross might just stay for a new manager!

I agree with all of it, except the Koeman bit. He's just getting started on a MASSIVE rebuilding job mate. He's had a season to assess, now let him get on with the rebuild.

My comments on Koeman were a bit jokey. He should, and surely will, get time to mould these players. You're right. But I am a tad concerned because I'm not seeing a 'style of play' and purpose to our play yet. Thats down to the manager. We've been dealt a very tough start and I was hoping for us to pick up 6 or 7 points from the first 5 games. Unless we beat Man Utd (which I can't see) that won't happen. Bournemouth and Burnley games become very important all round, not least for the manager.
