The centre mid that the commentators were calling 'Barry', but who actually had Abu Hamza on the back of his shirt, was the one I thought really stood out during the Split games.

Vlasic sounds like my kind of player, though.

barry was just a workhorse tho. he was all over the pitch and had two good games, but you'd think he has no where near the ceiling or technical ability as vlasic. i mean we got a big alarm bells when vlasic scooped it over our defense and pickford knocked over the split attacker. one brilliant pass could've changed the game if the ref called it right

As much as I was impressed with Barry Hamza, he did look very similar to Gana, so I didn't give much thought to him being a transfer target.

Looking forward to seeing Vlasic tomorrow. Koeman's words were very encouraging.

He plays the no 8 role but floats along the forward line very fast one for the future!

I can't see Besic starting. His Balkan backheels usually don't end well.

I can see him one day doing the most outrageous backheeled through ball the prem has ever seen and it coming off, then never doing another decent one again in his career.
