We've had months to identify a replacement for the Snake. Months !

There is plenty of decent strikers around who we could of got in had we offered the right money/the going rate for that level of player. Yet we didn't !

Frankly, it's nothing short of embarrassing and extremely poor management to allow this club to enter the final day of the window scrambling around for what appears to be a panic loan deal...... To replace Lukaku.

I think you are thinking Benteke being a shoe in is a bit off base. Crystal Palace are in a relegation battle and they just paid 32M for Benteke my guess is CP would ask for 50-60M for him. I do think he'd be a good fit but I don't think he is available at all.

Every one is available once the player kicks up a fuss and demands to leave. Everton with kenright prob conduct business all above board by contacting the clubs first. The top clubs contact the player on the sly first.

He will do well to score 10 goals.We need another forward who can score 20 goals to go along with rooneys 10. Am i the only one who thinks all the other teams who can have a go at top 4 have 2/3/4 top forwards. We have rooney and dcl who between them ig given every match will score 18 at most.

What a club this is. Off to a great start in the market and a failure to finish off the project. Its like decorating a house. Get it all washed up sanded and undercoated etc and then when you go to buy the gloss top coat you find out the shop is shut. All you neighbours have shopped late but bought the gloss and look like finished show houses. 7th place at best and without lukaku we will be under pressure to stay up there. Doubt me. Come on you're exaggerating there. WE've got three CB's. Two of them contributed heavily to our best defensive record since 1989. Add in Holgate and that's 4.

Garbutt can play LB, not ideal I'll admit but he's still there.

We've got Lennon, Mirallas and Lookman for the wings.

Sandro is an out and out CF imo. He can certainly play there.

Im still hoping for several players tonight but it's not quite the nightmare scenario you've painted.

Mirallas and Lennon might be leaving, why did he let Galloway go on loan? Played well when he was given the chance a couple seasons back, he would of been a better backup than Luke Garbutt. Also it will be a bit of a nightmare if we only have 2 strikers.

I know the difference about my club, in comparison.
