How many people are saying we are as good as them? If you rely on Everton being as good as them to bring you happiness you must be a right miserable cnut.

It's just a strange comparison though mate. Why on earth would you want us to be the RS whose last league title win was only a few seasons after ours? Why would you not compare us to say Man City or Chelsea and have us aspire to compete with them? You know, teams that have actually won major trophys in the last few years?

I'm glad for you sake that your not a RS though pal because you'd have to be tragically sad to go to all this effort if you were one.......

Since Liverpool last won the league they have won 10 major trophies, while we have won one.

The other week you want on a rant saying Man City and Chelsea are not big clubs. Make your mind up mate.

I still don't think they're big clubs mate. Doesn't mean we shouldn't aspire to win trophys like they are right now and use them as the current measuring stick though.

If were using a team to model ourselves on and aspire to be then picking one that has won a major trophy in the last five years or has been a regular in the top four would he a good start. Using a team that has only been in the Champions league twice in the last eight years and was humiliated last time they were in seems an odd measuring stick to me.
