Mate we've had about 6 shots in 6 games, we have the attacking capabilities of someone like Dagenham and Redgrave, we are absolutely dog turd, I think we are one of the most boring teams in the whole football league

That's kind of the thing too, it's HIS squad. We had 2 players today that played against Chelsea in the same fixture last year. Literally everyone, bar Jags and Baines, is his. If he doesn't have faith in the squad, that's down to HIS targets.
Plan A, B, and C are hoofs to DCL.
Thank god we signed loads of boss attacking players to share the goals out and got rid of that flat track bully lukaku who stopped us competing with the best teams, otherwise who knows where we'd be.

So predictable. No, we weren't great (dunno what the second half was like, turned it off after the second goal) but there's no point playing "I'm the best fan because I want the best for my team even if we've only played 2 games." Doesn't work for anyone.

I like this manager but the team selection today was dumb. I don't understand why he played 3 at the back, we don't have the energetic full backs that can play those positions and we don't have centre backs with the confidence to squeeze up the pitch and pen the opposition back like Chelsea and Tottenham do, therefore we start at an immediate disadvantage.
Why couldn't he have gone with 4-3-3 with Davies, Gana and Siggy/Besic (if we wanted to be more defensive), with Sandro, DCL and Rooney upfront? Even if we got beat by having a go it would be preferably to the 85 minutes of utter snooze we served up today.

This was my biggest problem with Rooney too. It had nothing to do with him being turbo crap (albeit I was expecting it). He is going to be forced into almost every game. This limits the team sheet as he is always on the list. We brought in Sigurdsson and Klassen who are best in his position. This is what I feared would happen.
