Ronald Koeman discussion

Honestly on par with Moyes with how negative he is. As a player he played in some of the most dynamic teams in football history and his managerial tactics is essentially hoofball.

No excuses, he's gotten just about every single target he's wanted this summer.

Buying players is not the same as getting them to perform.

The latter of which often takes time.

Maybe that works but likely we'd have still lost comfortably because they have far better players.

People really need to think logically. The likes of Chelsea and City are so much better than us. When we play these teams we are probably going to lose. It's been the case for years and it still is now.

I agree mate it was going to be a hard game no matter what team we put out. just think it would feel better to lose having had a real go than to sit back the way we have.

people need to remember that it is still early in the season and the players need time to gel. We will look a different team in a few months once we have all the players back and have a settled style of play.

Precisely this.

Early days still.

People are saying Koeman like a physical team but think the current team lacks a bit of height and physical presence.

I admire his bluntness but this is the 5th game of the season (2 EL games). He really likes to talk about players we need but while he does that he needs to sort himself out. Hope he isn't the type who gets player A and then says now we need this player B to improve this area and then gets player B only for him to want player C. His tactics have been awful in all these 5 games. When we won vs Split we totally were looking to bottle it in the 2nd half. There is no fluency about our game and that is down to the players he has brought and the system he plays. This isn't Serie A, this is PL. You always need pace. Rooney, Klaasen and Sigu all may be technically good but are all similar. He knew Lukaku was a gonner so he could have stressed the need to get a proper goal scorer in before Lukaku left apart from Sandro who's coming from another league with just 1 good season.

So when you spend this much money and like to be blunt then us fans need to be blunt as well. He has to take criticism for his awful tactics. No escaping that.
