Ronald Koeman discussion

The signings this summer seem to be players who have good stats, and individually they all make sense. Collectively though, I have no idea what the thought process was.

No pace to play counter attack
No height or physical presence to play direct
No playmaker in the middle of the pitch to be a possession team.
No natural width.

I don't know what we are, but most worrying, I don't know what we are trying to be.
Absolutely right not sure koeman knows what formation he is trying play

It was horrible but with players like Williams, Jagielka, Holgate, Baines and Davies in the first 11 we're never gonna attack the top6.

We have some good youth but they're not ready if you compare that with worldclass players at rival clubs.

This is a presumption that Everton are 'the finished article' which they are not.

City on Monday.

Split on Thursday.

Chelsea on Sunday.

Might have something to do with things.

Those teams that win trophies and Europa Leagues, they must be affected a ton by fatigue from all those games.

We have alot of injuries of course, but the tactics we've employed so far have just looked confusing, slow and disorganised.

Maybe that works but likely we'd have still lost comfortably because they have far better players.

People really need to think logically. The likes of Chelsea and City are so much better than us. When we play these teams we are probably going to lose. It's been the case for years and it still is now.

Burnley beat Chelsea. Does Burnley have better players than Chelsea? Does Burnley have better players than us?

It'll probably come throughout the season but when you sell your two best attacking players it's going to have an impact. We badly need a centre forward, I don't know if the money is there for that but there are hardly any goals in the team.

How many times do they play three away games in 6 days?

Also, we're still two short of signings that are incoming.

Plus have several or more players out with injuries.

Have said for some time this is early days. Everton are a 'work in progress'

People going off on one without thinking it through. Hearts not heads.

Think he got the tactics wrong today, Sandro shouldn't have started a game like this where he would have little service. That said we have played 3 games this week and the players were obviosuly tired.
