if your spending 100 Million plus pre season you have to be confident of getting through a group like that

Don't know mate. Zenit for me would be harder too as well as Lazio and Milan. And Kiev no pushovers either. Either are the 2 Spanish sides. Pot one bar a couple was goin to be tricky but nothin to be feared with lyon

Happy enough with that draw. No mega long haul away games, and 3 beatable teams. Us and Lyon fighting it out for top spot you would imagine.

Good news.. no far flung matches against dodgy teams and fans (tho I suppose the Carabinieri will have something to say). All easy to get to - seaside in Cyprus - quickly home for Sunday games.

Lyon are decent by French standards but, after PSG and Monaco that's not saying a lot.
Atalanta and Limassol - we've got no excuses if we slip up.

Arsenal fans on the other hand must be livid.
