If that tackle is a foul let alone a booking, then tackling is finished.
He got the ball in my opinion. It was a numb nuts second challenge and he deserved the card. Aguero made the most of it but was defo clipped...and from behind. There will be no rescinding of that second yellow, and rightly so.
As others have said, btw, Schneiderlin has been off the pace so far and he'll be no big miss (he didn't turn up against quality teams last season anyway, so we'll not notice the difference against Chelsea).
I wonder about him and the soft tissue injuries too. I reckon he limped his way to the end of last season and he'll suffer these types of injuries again.

It was asking for trouble in the sense that the ref couldn't see the contact point whatsoever and therefore made a judgement based upon Morgan sliding in and Aguero writhing around afterwards. As I said, there were a lot of similar tackles made last night where the ref had a better view and didn't even give a foul.

Tackling from behind is verboten. Any PL player who doesn't get that needs to take what they are handed without argument....any PL player already on a yellow and coming at Aguero from behind at the Etihad needs to take a second yellow and be fined by their own club for gross stupidity.
You're essentially saying football should be none contact. It's a sliding tackle. Contact should be a part of the game. He literally touched him with his trailing leg that is under his body. The tackle wasn't from behind either but aguero had already started to go down before any contact had been made so twisted his body which made it look like it was from behind. schneiderlin just got there ahead of him, he came in from the side if anything. It's not a tackle from behind. Aguero simulated to make it look that way, if you watch it he's already twisting around and doing his bag of potatoes impression before the ball has been taken or he's been touched. He plants his foot and starts twisting before the ball is touched or any contact is made. Basically any tackle is a foul and a yellow if that is.Are people honestly saying he didn't touch him? He caught him with his trailing leg, I'm pretty sure on that. And a tackle from behind and sliding in from distance is always at risk of a card and a foul even if you take the ball. I wasn't surprised at all when the card came out, and I think it's harsh not to acknowledge how the ref may have seen it even if you think ultimately it wasn't a foul. Ref has to call it in an instant. First reaction from me to him sliding in was no, no, no... Bad decision by Schneids for me.
Bad decision making. Aguero in his own half and scythes away from behind. Does he get the ball too? Yes. Does he give the ref who was itching to "even things up" an easy decision to make? Yes.
It will be deemed dangerous play and the card and ban will remain in place.

I assume by bold you mean the 'you to me to you to me' we had under the maestro. We've had bold. Bold was about as much fun as a cup of cold sickThere is if we're bold. I don't think we have bold leadership.
The guy's a wum and he's having a field day todayStop talking crap mate your doing my head in...
Numb nuts challenge? He got the ball clean and tapped the players ankle with his trailing toe that was folded under his own body..
No rescinding of the second yellow?
Your right... because you can't actually appeal them ...
