Ahh slightly disappointed that we never got the 3rd. But would have taken 2 nil all day long beforehand. Clean sheet at home is always the key.

Think we can see that rooney is best in the hole and DCL doesn't cut it yet. We are now desperate for a CF. If we can get a good CF I can see this team clicking. Apart from a 10 minute spell we looked defensively sound but feel the midfield let the defence down in that period. Can't complain with 2-0 and when Pickford was called upon he did his job well. Few disappointments out there tonight but I feel job done.

Again, he could have done it without giving away the foul if he wasn't crap. He had all day to win the ball off of that lad and just went "sod it" and took him down when he couldn't get the ball off of him.

I'll give him this, that was his best contribution in his time on the pitch as he spent the rest of his running 40 yards ahead of whoever was on the ball constantly. It was funny seeing him lose his temper when Williams decided not to pass to him (Because he was marked every which way) and him throwing his hands to the air in frustration.

Feel it was a bit of both, saving legs. Having said that, sounded like Koeman wasn't too happy with how much our tempo dropped, so it wasn't his instruction.

williams was so much better today as well. No idea who start vs city, maybe jagielka because of their ages vs rest time. They can keep rotating until we get that new centre back in for good competition.
