Not sure that can happen, it would need to happen throughput Europe to stop teams losing players to European sides without having the ability to replace them.

There seems to be very few so called target men available in fact there aren't an abundance in general. If Calvert Lewis was 5 years older we would all be begging to sign him going to be a very important player for us in years to come.

i really don't believe we have any interest in slimani. I wouldn't be adverse to him as a backup for a decent fee, but i sincerely doubt it'll be anyone from the prem now that giroud is off the table. I'd take benteke next summer for a knock down price if palace have another crap season, but he'd be too much atm.

Costa would need some fitness work but he has never really been thin, he'd certainly score but we'd be stuck if it was only until Jan
Slimani hardly had a chance last year, and I'm sure we were in for him before he signed for Leicester so Ronko/Walsh must have seen something in him. Could he worth a go
Benteke wouldn't be a bad idea, he knows where the net is like, his conversion rate is pretty good but he'll cost £50+
Value for money and return, I think Bony would be worth a go. He'll likely cost around half of Bentekkers, and I know he's tanked since joining City but they bought him because he was on fire before that, and that was only because our own Icelandic god was teeing him up. He's probably got wider thighs than he is tall but I'm sure he still scored a few headers

Sounds like we're finding it hard. Which is quite disappointing cause they knew the situation 6 months ago.
We could have known for 2 years it doesn't mean we'd find it any easier to attract a Giroud.
