They may buy him a they are moaning about not having enough.

spurs will not give Ross the wages he wants!

If he somehow ends up at Chelsea it'll be next year on a free, as a squad player, and he'll hardly get off the bench.

if he signs for a CL club it will be a "told you so", despite the fact that they may have bought him only for a bit of depth.

So, just so I am clear - Marcus Albrighton is a Champions League level player? Thanks for clearing that up for me.

Well clearly he is yeah. The only way you can define a 'Champions League level player' is that they played in the Champions League surely? It's not like 'world class'. Of all the teams in the CL, only about 8 are any good but people make out like it's some sort of incredible step up. It's like people who say Osman and Hibbert weren't 'Premier League players' when they made about 500 appearances in it.

The point being made was that Barkley wasn't capable of playing in the CL, which is frankly ridiculous.

Not at all would have loved him to stay and learn off Rooney - sad but if his personal life dictates he gos its the modern game no loyalty the days of labone and one player clubs are over fact!
