We don't have any right wing backs and we don't have any left wing backs. Our best left back played it today, our best RWB option played today.

Clearly isn't Martina.

Baines and Coleman

At one point the two best wing backs in the league

Jonjoe made his 1st team debut in 2016 under Unsworth. He then went on to receive player of the season at the Dixies for a title winning u23 side. Following that he was arguably England's player of the tournament in an u20 World Cup winning side.
In total he's received 10 minutes 1st team football under RK at a time when the first choice player in his position has broken his leg. What more could JJK have possibly done to at least get a chance to prove himself?
I think RK had an excellent first season but he's not infallible. I distinctly remember, when he was under pressure before Xmas, he said the kids weren't ready. He was wrong. Injuries forced him to play Tom D and Tom played an important part in turning our season by providing an energy that was previously missing.
If he's also wrong about Cuco, and the professional staff at SFC who worked closely with Cuco clearly believe he is, we'll be stuck with him or a defensively solid Holgate who can't cross the ball. FFS give Kenny a chance to prove he's ready, or not, starting by playing him today.

..all you are saying is give Kenny a chance.

When Coleman first came into the team it was as a right winger and didn't move back until he had gained some experience and could be relied on to play as a full back.
The same might work for Kenny.

Thought he did very well in his little cameo yesterday.

I'm still hoping that Koeman will give him a chance. I may be wrong but I think he's playing 3 at the back simply because he is not happy with his options at right back. But he still hasn't properly tried Kenny there yet. Hopefully he will give him a go against Stoke before the tricky games start.

Everyone, name them.

It did happen though , he was the great white hope . Until that is he went on loan and couldn't get a game anywhere .

I'm not comparing them as players and I've been impressed with what little I've seen of kenny but like dowell I'm not convinced I know more than the manager on it .

Think if he going to start against stoke he would of started yesterday . Seems to me his is 3rd choice at the moment with holgate and Martina ahead of him . Weak point for us at the moment and really need Coleman back.
