I wonder how many are joining with an eye to a further move like Stones, Lukaku, and Barkley all got.

How many players are looking at us as an academy for the Top 4?

Here's a quote from Koeman last year.

The 53-year-old said: "I have had that experience in my last two years, always a lot of interest in players.

"Like everybody, we like to keep all these key players, because you don't sell your best players. But that is about meetings I will have with these kind of players and then we will see what happens."

Well if we make progress and look to be investing and taking another step up next season I would expect them to stay at least that long and due to contracts we would be in a strong position. Stones agitated to go the season before he went to City, Barkley has 12 months left and Lukaku would have only had 12 months left by next summer. If we are not competing for top 4 next season (2018-2019) then some of these players will probably look to move on if they have reached that standard. Put simply if Sandro Ramirez scores 20+ goals a season we can probably hold onto him for this season and next but would struggle after that without CL.

Can't really compare 6 years worth of spending by fsg to 18 months by moshiri to be fair
No. But FSG backed Liverpool to the tune of £80M net spend in the same time Moshiri has been here...and that doesn't allow for inflation over that intervening period.

Moshiri or FSG. FFS there isn't even a debate about it.

Big stand versus NEW STADIUM.

I agree, no debate needed.

Or averaged out £30million a year. Less than the £50million you're wanting from Moshiri this window alone
