I think if we have a small or negative net spend by the close of the window then 3 windows during a time of record increases in TV money without a large net spend that's as close to evidence without actually having Jim White announce it on Sky Sports.

But you do realise just how much on its arse this club was before Moshiri took over, right?

You talk about net spend a lot, but I suspect you honestly dont have a single clue what your talking about at all.

Im not even gonna pretend im an expert, but I do keep my eye on the clubs accounts, ive tried to follow the money for years on here, it all adds up, again, im not an expert, im just a fan on the internet, but at least try and know what im talking about.

So, to my point.

The last 3 Seasons, our net spend is as follows :

21m, 27m, 36m.

This current window isnt closed, but hey, none of this fits your agenda, so im sure it will be ignored.

But we currently have a positive NET spend under Mosh, as well as him giving us an 80m interest free loan, as well as paying a deposit for the land at BMD and all of the other things we know about.

So, your whole point as is the same with @d4kyxx is about him not having invested, when I am showing you clearly here in this reply that he obviously has. Plus there are about another 40 odd days left in this window,

We have been given an extra 100m in TV money too. The wages haven't gone up much if at all (we have released a lot of senior players and brought in a lot of kids). If our net spend is positive then it's barely positive since he came on board.

Could you tell me where the extra 100m in TV money has gone?

How do you get those figures? Our net spend for last year was 23m and there's no way we have spent 36m so far this summer. Since Moshiri wasn't here before there's no reason in going back further.

Plus if you had said to us fans that within 18 months, Deulofeu, Stones, Lukaku and Barkley would be gone and our new stadium would have to be designed for the commonwealth games and not purely for football people would be saying there would be a riot.

If 18 months ago someone had said to me that we'd have done the following, i'd have been content to say the least:

Got rid of a manager who was taking us down the league (evidenced with 2 11th placed finishes)
Brought in a manager who is known throughout the World as having won a European Cup/s and won trophies as a manager
Got rid of a lot of deadwood - Kone, Gibson, Howard etc
Paid off £80m debt
Gone from 11th place getting humiliated by the likes of Sunderland 0-3 who have since gone down to finishing 7th place qualifying for Europe
Earned 43 points at Goodison compared to 23, losing only twice rather than 8 times.
Sent 5 of our youth players to the Under 20's World Cup which England won with one of ours scoring the winner
Made huge strides forward in getting a potential 60k seater stadium and getting the council on our side

Regarding the 4 players you mentioned, Deulofeu wasn't good enough for Everton, Stones still has a long way to go to fulfil his potential and was wanted by a CL club and Barkley has been inconsistent. Lukaku is the one where we can feel disappointed but he too was wanted by a CL club and we will have made a profit of £47m+ on him so still got a very good deal out of his sale.

You can choose to be negative all you want but I just don't understand what fans like you get out of being so down about the club every single day. If you can't see that the club has moved forward from where we were 18 months ago then I think you're lying to yourself to be honest.

Make your mind up, you either wanna use historic TV money or you dont?

If you wish to talk ONLY the Moshiri era then you need to wait for the current window to close, but his era currently shows a positive net spend, if you bothered to check.

It's barely positive. When you consider the amount of extra TV money I would have expected more and that's without him actually needing to invest. At the very least I expected to start the season with someone better than Martina as our starting RB.

Is that the extra TV money that was paid this window? This window that isnt closed yet, yet you expect the money to have already been spent.

Lets see what this window brings, I think we will have a very low net spend, but we will have signed almost 200 million pounds worth of NEW players by the time it closes, im not sure I will care who paid for them.

I do care so I guess that's the difference.
