I like this strategy. We are starting to establish ourselves as the best club in the league for young talent join. as for Bowler I have never heard of him. Kid does not even have a YouTube video lol

Has anyone yet made the point that Unsworth has a bigger budget for the u23's than Moyes had for the first team?

It seems a bit strange to me that we sign him for 1.5m and only give him a 3 year contract. We are obviously so rich that 1.5m is peanuts!

He'll get another contract after about 18 months if he's any good, if not we'll probably let him go after the three years without any add ons paid. As you say , peanuts for Unsy's budget, it would never have happened in Moyes's day of course , he didn't even have that amount for the first team.
