minor things that make you fume

here's how to ruin the goodwill and support of a consumer base that took five years to build in one single tweet:

Used to be if you had NBCSports (which I believe you have to pay extra to get in general) and Everton weren't one of the featured matches on tv, you could go online and stream it.

Now you have to pay $50/year for the same service.

Shops that open on holidays that shouldn't even consider being open. 4th of July over here is a big thing and people aren't shopping, there's parades, parties and family time but the hardware store I used to work for opens at 6:30am and closes at 8pm. Absolutely baffling.

It's a cash cow mate, they milk it.

Here in Australia, last season OPTUS took over from Foxtel, they priced it fairly reasonably - for now. Their service was meh...the only thing they had going for them was they weren't Foxtel..

they've just floated a big survey, rate us 1 -10 etc. Likes, dislikes. I gave them loads on general rs big 6 bias and biased pundits spouting wham.

I smell a price rise.

Just bad business on their part. Pushing for more dough, they'll get it... but will chase off advertisers when participation drops when a good chunk of people who used the free service find other free services.

Fox Sports tried the same nonsense years ago and it failed... NBCSN bought the rights from them and is now going down the same path.

And EVERYONE hates it.

To be fair if I could pay £50 a year for every prem game in high quality I'd see it as a bargain compared to what I pay sky etc

Shopping and parents insisting on getting their toddlers to get every item they want off the shelf and putting it in the trolley, get a kin move on!

Keep in mind you are likely already paying up for the NBCSports package on top of your already expensive monthly cable fees as it is. Not sure what rates are now, but when I left in 2014 I was paying $180/month for a package of high speed internet and HD cable with sports and discovery/history package and a DVR. And the sports/history packages were at a reduced rate as past of some bundle.

And outside of maybe a few NHL games during the season and Men In Blazers, don't recall NBCSN having anything else worth watching, except maybe the cool Olympic sports they don't show on TV (Hockey) as they are too busy with floor routine gymnastics or figure skating.

as an additional note, paying up gives you access to 130 matches, not all of 'em. so even if you pony up you might not get to enjoy 'your club' on a weekly basis. Top six, sure. EFC most likely. Most other clubs... notsomuch.
