Listen. The lad is by his own admission a massive blue and has publically stated in the past he wants to only play for us, the only reason he hasn't signed a contract is logically down to a few reasons

1. Contract is crap
2. Contract hasn't been offered
3. Doesn't fancy Koeman


I think it's 3, as @davek has mentioned, Ross has typically responded to the arm around the shoulder approach, remember he came on v Blackburn gave a pen away Moyes dragged him off and was scarred for life, he's been publically berated the season by koeman and responded with better tactical performances according to the opta loving virgins here.

I think he signs a contract but does t get anywhere near as much game time unless he becomes a world beater.

That was a disastrous move by our board imo!

No fam, one is a world class record breaking goal scorer another is a wannabee playmaker with excellent potential who is a little bit sensitive to criticism.

Even thou his client isn't close to being as good at his job as Rom, so if he has advised Ross he should want similar he isnt doing his client any favors at all. Likewise Ross is deluded if he thinks he is worth that much, so the buck stops with Ross.
He signs if he wants do, and he hasn't, sooner he has gone the better.
