I've seen this printed as well, but I was thinking how on earth can a contact state he must be in the first team? or even that they can't sell or loan him? If they buy him back, surely they can do what they want to do as its there player. Or at the most, if they sold him on to AC Milan they might agree a small settlement fee with us?

I've just read a article claiming Barca are thinking of dropping Messi deeper next season and wanna try del boy on the right can't see it being true but i do think in a team that has 70% plus possession every game he could shine big time but then again could say the same for any winger

I doubt Barca want him back

They are simply using the clause to buy him back so as to sell at a profit as they know he's worth more than the 12m

you sir don't know the rules of football. So they will sign him and keep him for a season and then sell him again what?

You cannot buy a player and then sell him again. A full season must elapse.

So what they loan him out then hope he shines then sell him big at the end of the season.
