Again I will stress, Ronny doesnt favour the playmaker number 10.

Klassen is being brought in to add a dimension, just like Bolaise was, an attacking threat.

Still plenty of spaces in the side, plenty of scope for magic, we need a Striker and probably 2 Wing forwards, provided we get Klassen and Sandro in, of course the defence needs work, but from an attacking POV, I think we will sign another 2 or 3 players on top of Sandro and Klassen.

This.

The magic comes from the three players up front/out wide, with the midfield and full-backs offering support.

Im not sure the 2 lads you mention are even number 10s, Sigi yes, the other 2, not really IMO.

Well, they're 'creative'.

But yeh, Banega is a central midfielder. He'd be wasted out wide and tbh I don't see him as a priority with Klaassen coming in. I think the stories may be just putting 2+2 together tbh, but we'll see.

Brozovic is a tricky one to define.

He's a player suited to a 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1, who can play either centrally or out wide (but given the license to roam).

I'd call him a 'playmaker' in the sense that Pienaar was for us. Not exactly a No.10 but not a winger either.

Klaassen is basically a box-to-box midfielder who has the ability to double as a second-striker.

Michael Keane changed his mind about leaving Burnley to return to Manchester United when he found out his former club wanted to sign two centre backs, according to the Times.

United announced the signing of Swedish centre-back Victor Lindelof last night, and though Keane was linked with a move back to Old Trafford, the Times say the 24-year-old feared he would not get enough game time.

I see Brahimi as this kind of player also and would like us to get him IF RK wants that type

Grey, Cafu, Onyekuru, Brahimi, Ghezzal and other French players. - we have been linked with lots of skilful and pacy wingers in the Jan and now transfer windows who can all score a reasonable amount so have to think we will be after a winger.

I still want Grey if cheap. No way he is worth 22 million as originally quoted.

It's like I've woken up to discover I support a different team. If we land 3-4 of these targets, as appears to be the case, it'll be like 1981 all over again.. Neville Southall, Alan Ainscow, Mick Ferguson, Mike Walsh (related to Steve), Micky Thomas, Alan Biley, Jim Arnold*

just hope the success rate is slightly higher than 1 out of 7.

I remember being on holiday as a kid, I think I was about 10 and we signed: Nigel Martyn, Francis Jeffers, James McFadden and Kevin Kilbane all on the same day or close to each other.

It felt like we were going to win the league at the time for me. We were actually signing players.

Pity only Nigel Martyn was the only one to turn out good.

Calciomercato via Echo:
Milan have agreed to sell Paraguayan defender Gustavo Gomez to the Toffees following talks with Walsh.

They claim that the 24-year-old, who joined the Italian giants last summer in a £7m switch from Argentinian side CA Lanus, is available for transfer after making just 11 appearances this season.

Ship out Ronald and buy 6 playmakers please. Make a statement Evertons
