You've got two 8s there mein frandel

Ronny favours the 2 number 8s mein frandel.

Take a look at how we started to set up near the end of the season, for example these games.

The 4-3-3 will be Ronnys go to formation.

He will of course change it from time to time, possibly go with 3-4-1-2 or other variants of 3 at the back at times and at others a 4-2-3-1.

Pressing from the front with a very dynamic midfield, up and downers.

Well, at least they can't be open to accusations of being slow out of the traps and penny pinching so far this summer.

The board can only make the funds and infrastructure to make transfers happen, available, and they seem to be doing that.

The targets chosen and signed are solely down to Koeman and Walsh, and they will take responsibility for success/failure on the pitch.

Can't knock the board and Moshiri with this start though, a lot more work to be done but the organisation looks to be impressive to me.

Be great to get some confirmations by the weekend.

I admit I only show my face in here during the transfer windows (I mean the forum, not this thread before someone tries to be funny...), so I try to follow along when people seem to know each other, or at least are familiar with each other. Now I'm already regretting asking this as I'm writing it, but I've seen a name pop up a few times and I need to know who it is as the username seems to be used as a sort of insult and I'm confused... Okay, here goes... Who's 'davek'?
Best not go there mate, dabbling in the occult never ends well.

...Thursday's newspaper round-up;

- The Guardian report Jordan Pickford has undergone a medical in Poland and formal announcement of his £30m move to Everton is imminent. The Blues will pay £22m up front for the player.

- 4th Official say Everton are one of many clubs interested in Man City outcast, Wilfried Bony.

- Calciomertico.com suggest AC Milan offered up defender Gustavo Gomez during talks with Everton representatives. The same site says Everton are considering a £17.5m bid for Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic who was also offered up.

- The Daily Mail says Everton are firm favourites to sign Michael Keane after interest from Man Utd cooled.

- 4th Official say Lyon are closing in on a move for Everton target Bertrand Traore.

- Rome based newspaper Il Messagero say Everton have been landed a blow after Keita Balde turned down a move to the Blues who had reached an agreement with Lazio.

- The Express report RK has told Ross Barkley the club will not allow him to run down his contract. The Telegraph say this is good news for Spurs who are not willing to pay £50m for the player.

- 4th Official again link Everton with an £8m move for Brentford midfielder, Jota.

- Everton have reportedly entered the race to sign Juventus midfielder, Mario Lemina, although Valencia remain favourites to get him according to Football Italia.

- Ninetyminutesonline say Middlesborough are keen on Everton winger Aiden McGeady.

Love reading these round ups, thanks Eggs!

Where is the creativity in the side? All of the very top sides have players who can create something out of nothing. Koeman says we need to improve in the final 3rd but we don't even seem to be being linked with the players who can beat a man and pick out a through ball.

Klassen seems like a better version of Davies. Will run all day and keep things neat and tidy but isn't the playmaker we're crying out for. I don't care how many goals he's scored in Holland - he won't be getting anywhere near as many in the Premiership.

Surely with our £30m bids we can find someone?

We have creativity. Barkley can be that but he needs space and better players around him. Klaassen is a player who creates opportunities because his movement is so good, and that opens up space.

We'll probably look to get another 'no 10' in regardless of Ross' future - hence the Brozovic and Sigurdsson and Banega stories (though I think Banega is a stretch and tbh he isn't all that).

Im not sure the 2 lads you mention are even number 10s, Sigi yes, the other 2, not really IMO.
