Why would you want a striker who couldn't even get a start for Burnley every week.

I question a blues sanity if they want him.

tbf mate, it's not a question of people wanting second tier strikers, it's more settling for what's realistic. Top tier strikers demand CL playing status and we cannot offer them that. And yes, I appreciate that teams like Man U and Chelsea have recently attracted top tier without necessarily having CL, but those are perceived as elite clubs. Sadly, we are not

I watched him live 2 weekends ago against NI and he made 38 year old Aaron Hughes look world class

I live in Leeds and go and see them with some mates now and again and this guy is woeful. People bang on about the quality of the championship, but this guy rattling in 20+ goals proves that the standard of defending is pitiful. Loads of Leeds fans can't stand him, despite his goals, because they become so predictable when he's on the pitch (it's a bit like how Moyes used big Dunc at the end of his career).

So opinions. Is the Gueye shirt farrago because:

a) the EFC website does not exactly have a reputation of being at the pinnacle of retail excellence and probably made a bit of a boo boo, or;

b) Gueye is actually leaving and the club decided to let the web design guys know before anyone else purely to mess with the heads of the more eagle eyed fans.

He's not even second tier mate he couldn't get a game for Burnley.
